Non-work related – Visit an elephant sanctuary in Thailand! We got to feed, wash & ride the elephants.

Work related? Probably the first project I did that I was totally responsible for. That was a little scary but I was well able, it was great to see it complete & shipped off to a happy customer

I’ve enjoyed lots of projects I’ve worked on. One that was pretty cool was helping to make a documentary film with David Attenborough. It was about insects and the whole thing was filmed in 3D. I got to go to the studios in London, to advise them about the science, and to watch the filming. I was filmed myself but they ended up not using that part, which was a shame, but I really enjoyed seeing how these films are made. The programme went out recently as “MicroMonsters” on the Sky channel.

Not in work, either racing motorcycles off-road or flying airplanes was pretty epic.

Work related was probably getting a guided tour of a nuclear power plant (which are very hard to get).

I went to Australia for a bit of a holiday and did scuba diving in the great barrier reef – that was pretty epic, the fish were amazing!
