Mechanical engineers work on lots of things. For example cars, aeroplanes, power stations, heating systems, air conditioning, medical devices, washing machines, cats & dogs…OK, not the cats & dogs.

Im a mechanical engineer and i have worked on solar panels for the roofs of cars, engines for new fuel efficient cars, developing fuel from seaweed, medical blood tests, medical devices for doing xrays, electricity networks, laws and policies for governments, methods of turning rubbish into energy. Lots of different things. Mechanical engineers work on nearly all engineers projects, as if anything in the project needs to move you need an Mechanical engineer.
