• Question: how does a aeroplane fly

      The motors make the plane move forwards; as it moves, air flows over the wings and causes a lifting force. But the interesting thing is that nobody really knows why that happens. Engineers design aeroplanes by puttingmodels in wind tunnels to test them, so they can make sure they really work, but the science behind it is still not really understood.
