• Question: how come when a balloon goes next to your head your hair stands up

      That’s because of static electricity. The balloon gets an electric charge on it and repels the charge in your hair. Here’s a good trick: rub the balloon a few times on your jumper – then put the side you rubbed up against the wall. It will stick to the wall! That’s also because of the static electricity
