Nikola Tesla is mine. He was an inventor, electrical engineer, mechanical engineer, and futurist, who helped design the -modern alternating current (AC) electricity supply system. He was a sterotypical “Mad Scientist”, but invented some crazy stuff like wireless power & communication.

Leonardi di Vinci is one of my favourites, he was an amazing scientist, engineer, artist, writer… he was a true genius. He was way ahead of his time, designing helicopters in the 1400’s, nearly 500 years before anyone actually made one!

Here’s a look at some of his sketches & ideas for inventions:

Samuel Haughton was Ireland’s first Biomedical Engineer. He lived in the 1800’s and was involved in lots of different sciences: medicine, biology, geology, etc. He wrote the first ever book about the science which we now call Biomechanics, explaining how our bodies work, how we move, breath, pump blood around, etc.
