I’d like to invent replacement body parts that were as good as the real thing. I’ve helped to improve artificial hip joints and some other parts, but they are still nothing like as good as the human body can make

I wish i had invented the simple things that make life easier like the fork, smoke alarm, the door lock. Things that everybody takes for granted, which means they are brilliantly designed.

I remember my granny falling in the bath years ago & I thought it would be brilliant to invent a bath that wasn’t hard & painful to fall on!
So it would be an almost-solid, squidgy kind of plastic that moved slightly if you pushed it but slowly slid back into shape. Like rubber covered something or other. Probably some major water drainage issues to think about… but that’s a small detail!

I wish i had invented an alarm clock that dresses you, feeds you breakfast and washes your face and teeth all before it wakes you up because I hate having to do those things in the morning when i’m sleepy!
