• Question: do you get time off for things like easter or your birthday?

      we get time off for public holidays (like christmas or st patricks day), after that we get about 25 days a year which we can take when ever we want.

      Everybody gets holidays at easter, christmas and such. When you are working you don’t normally get your birthday off…but you might get cake!

      We get all normal holidays off (most of the time), but not birthdays.

      We get public hols off work & then 20 days you pick yourself. I only get my birthday off if it lands on a weekend 🙂

      Yip. In the university I work in we get pretty good holidays. You just need to get permission from your supervisor – I think it’s the same in most jobs.
